I started coaching clients in early 2018, and due to getting busier, I opened the FJR facility in 2018, working primarily on the group and personal training clients at the time. Since then I have opened the current facility and added the gym facility at FJR, and continued to expand the business.
My background is fitness, strength, and female weight loss as I myself lost 10 stone and won 2019 IBFA bodybuilding transformation and physique categories.
I can offer a range of training services and nutritional advice, for your goals and needs as well as adding sports massage to my services also, all available within the gym for your convenience.
I coach male, female, strength, fitness, body recomposition, personal, and group training and offer sports massage services.

Hi, I'm Callum Purdy, a father of two & a personal trainer since 2022 .
I have been involved in fitness that past 10 years, I have learnt a lot of knowledge over the years, which has helped me a lot in getting the best results for my client's.
Unlike most my intro into fitness was never a goal of getting into shape, it started out as I needed a focus mentally, the physical side of it came with it.
My passion is to help you achieve your goals, whether that be, losing/gaining weight, body composition, increasing strength, increasing muscle mass or for purely your mental health ( healthy minds = healthy bodies)
I believe everybody has the right to feel confident, and be happy with themselves inside and out.

Helping people change their lives is something I have wanted to do since I was a child. I set off on my journey to achieve this, with the end goal of becoming a doctor. Fast forward many years, I have a degree in Biomedical Science, a level 3 Personal Training qualification, and in my first year of medical school.
Fitness has been there for me throughout my journey, keeping me sane and allowing me to become a version of myself that I am proud to be every day.
It hasn’t been an easy ride. I have struggled with body image issues for almost as long as I can remember, and when I was finally able to reach a weight that I thought was my dream, mentally I was at my lowest.
It took me 22 years to realise that a lower weight is not necessarily always the best weight. I am finally able to appreciate my body for what it does, rather than how it looks. I exercise to reach fitness goals, not to drop my weight. I eat for fuel, not starve myself to be skinny.
If I had known what I know now back then, things would have been so much easier.
It is my goal to help ensure no one ever has to feel this way, and allow you to become the best version of yourself.

I have been working as a Personal Trainer for over 5 years.
As a female coach with MS and gone through menopause I work closely with women with current health issues or are approaching perimenopause.
I offer nutritional advice, help women with weightloss, strength training and body composition.
I’m extremely passionate about what I do as woman now in early 50’s I have benefitted so much from eating well and lifting weights.
Especially keen to work with beginners or those wishing to return to fitness but need a helping hand.
